Just a simple and fair credit card.

Tip: you need excellent credit to get this card, but once you’ve got it it’s a good card. There’s 0% APR on purchases for 15 months, plus balance transfers – very generous. There’s no annual fee and you get cash back bonuses of 3% on supermarket spendings -amongst others, but that’s most applicable to me. There’s no enrolment and rotating categories to navigate – just a simple and fair credit card.

Happy with this card

My FICO score was not that great so I was initially knocked back on my first application for this card. I waited 6 months and addressed my credit history and applied again when my score had improved drastically. I eventually was approved for a modest amount and rolled over my balance transfer that I’d been paying off at a high APR. I’m glad I waited because I’m happy with this card.

Not an "everyday" card but still a good card

Everyday card is a strange name because the supermarket limit could be reached well before the end of the year if you have a large family, meaning it’s not the best card for “everyday” use but a good card none the less. I did a balance transfer and got 0% APR for 15 months, plus no annual fee, both of which have saved me money already.

Good

I spent $1000 in my first 3 months and got $100 back in the form of statement credit. It’s not cash back as such, but cash back none the less. 3% cashback is for supermarket purchases up to $6000/year then drops to 1% which might not be enough for some, so do some calculations before applying. No annual fee and generous APR on purchases and balance transfer are good.
