Chase wants perfect credit only

KC had the chase Freedom card as a very good on my profile. My TU score is 699. Equifax 640 due to id theft I can't get removed.I have 2 personal rewards cards; one is the GM which capital one practically gave me 0% 9 months. My other cash back is straight 1% no limit card. My business card is also straight 1% no fee no restrictions. I own my house and car with -0- debt. About a 1 1/2 ago started get cards after years of cash so I can buy a bigger house., All my accounts are rated as paid in full ever month but new I have 6 accounts. 6 years ago had id theift. I got ever thing off 2 of 3 credit reporting agencies and everything but one off Equifax. Well I apply on KC instally hit "under review" 5 days later denial citing 6 year old derog in Equifax arives in mail. Come on no house or car payment and a good income from work. The only derog was the id theift item. Their is even a id note on the account. I am not wasting reconsider as i already have to many hard pulls.

Great card to rebuild

I have a 645 TU and EQ score and even with a "fair" chance, I took a chance and applied for this card after being denied by Capital One. I received the dreaded "additional review needed", but a few days later, I got a call from Chase Fraud prevention department. I verified myself with them and they told me I was approved for $5500. However, when I got my card, it was $4500...which I'm not going to turn away. It's a second chance to start rebuilding, and I am looking forward to being in the 700 range in the next 6 months with low but regular utilization and ontime payments. Thank you CHASE for my second chance! 0% for 15 months, no annual fee and cashback rewards! Screw you Capital One!

This is the best credit card I have ever used

This is the best credit card I have ever used. The APR is 0% for the first 15 months. I love the rewards you could earn with this card. We buy literally everything with this credit card and we always shop where we can get 5% rewards and then the 1% in addition to that. We have made as much as $70 in reward money in one month. The rewards never expire, so we can let them build up as long as we want to. Over the course of a year this is better return than I can get investing in a CD or savings account!

Great option!

I've had my Chase Freedom now for about 5 years. I use the card for all of my personal purchases. I love the fact that there are different categories for cash back rewards that change every quarter. I'm only rating this card 4 stars because I wish they would let you personally choose the categories you want for the 5% Cash Back instead of them choosing it for you. Often times, some of the categories they offer are things I don't usually purchase. Still, regardless of that, I get 1% on everything else and I'm pretty happy with that. I have earned a lot of cash back already and am looking forward to earning so much more in the future.

The only card I use

I use my chase freedom card for every purchase I have gotten so much cash back and don't forget to go on chase before you shop online. The customer service is top notch. Don't leave home without it !

Approved with 635 score!

Credit Karma said my approval rate was "poor" but after reading the reviews for this card, I decided to give it a go! I was approved for a $700 credit limit with a Credit Karma TU score of 635. I already have two capital one cards. I started with the capital one secured card with a low 400 score and then was approved for the capital one quicksilver card after the secure card improved my score by 100 points. Prior to applying for this Chase card I was denied for the capital one platinum card and also a Discover card! So needless to say I have quite a few hard inquiries on my credit but was still approved for this one! I also have zero balance on all of my current cards. I'm glad I decided to apply for this one to further improve my score.

Crazy simple, Great Rewards!

I decided to apply for this card when I wanted a VISA I could get rewards on if my AMEX was not accepted. I went with it when I saw 5% cash back on special category purchases. I was approved for $2000 and in the letter they sent they included my credit score at the time which was 719. Great card and it looks amazing. Definitely recommend it!

Super Awesome!

I was surprised to be approved instantly for this card! I've honestly only been in credit for maybe almost a year now and they just approved me for 2,200$ at 0% APR for 15 months. I'm still blown away! I knew hitting submit on the application there was like a zero percent chance of getting approved. I thought why am I doing this do I just want a hard inquiry on my report, cause there is so many reason I should've been denied. High utilization, low age of credit, not enough accounts under my belt, but I've never missed a payment ever and I always pay back generously usually 15x the mimimum. I'm really happy to have my foot in the door with Chase in the future this paves the way to bank car and even house loans with them! Thank You Chase! My credit scores was, 636TU, 633EF, ???EX.
